Baker Historic Neighborhood Association

The Denver Broncos have proposed build a new stadium on the Burnham Yard site near the 10th & Osage light rail station. The stadium and surrounding entertainment district will mostly be outside the boundaries of Baker, but like all large developments, we expect it to have impacts on our neighborhood. Alongside the stadium plan and it's associated large development review (LDR) and community benefits agreement (CBA), the city has launched a small area plan (SAP) process that includes a much wider area. The SAP includes a large chunk of Baker and it will inform zoning and development in the area for decades.
We recommend that you start by reading more about the different processes and then finding links to more details about them below. This document describes the difference between a small area plan and a community benefits agreement and this document covers the difference between a small area plan and a large development review. And here's the city of Denver's overview.
Baker is represented on the SAP Community Advisory Committee (CAC) by Alex Clement, Steve Harley, and Jim Abraham. Patrick Lepak is our representative to the CBA committee.
