- The special meeting June 2nd on the Bronco's CBA and Burnham Yard SAP was well attended with about 70 folks presnt.
- Representatives from Denver City Planning and a consultant on the CBA were there to address concerns. Street parking, parking lots in Baker and traffic were the major concerns. The meeting was Hybrid so recorded and available on the website if you'd like to view it along with notes and the transcript. We are still deciding on next steps, and need to be certain we don't interfere with the CBA negotiations. It was suggested we send letters to the city, city council and the Broncos.
- Baker Fest @ Dailey Park
- Baker Fest at Dailey Park was a huge success! We served 450 scoops of free ice cream—although a few may have been second helpings—and estimate that nearly 500 neighbors attended this year’s event. The communal chalk mural was a wonderful way to keep kids of all ages engaged and entertained while everyone enjoyed performances by talented local musicians, thanks to the organizers of Blucifer’s First Rodeo.
The event came together beautifully under the creative leadership of Theresa Galli and our amazing team of volunteers. Thank you!
