Welcome and Neighborhood Updates - 6:30

• Lincoln Broadway RNO is having their End of Summer Fest this Saturday, Septmember 12th, 11 - 5PM, "The Yard" 47 N Lincoln St.
• City Council At-Large Seat B Candidate's Forum, September 22, 4- 7 at Bar 404.  All 10 candidates have confirmed. 
• First Baker Cornhole Classic September 26 - Cat 
• Letters of support recently signed by the board
  • 1.) Letter from the West East Neighborhood United (WENU) CBA Steering Committee to CDOT and Mayor Johnston concerning CDOT not activating the traffic lights at the corner of Kentucky and S. Santa Fe Ave until a fifth lane is added.
    • Briefly, the Denver Summit CBA was against the addition of a 5th lane there (extra lanes historically end up simply creating heavier traffic) and the traffic light is essential for the safety of gameday pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
  • The letter was reviewed by the Summit and co-signed by the Ruby Hill, West Wash Park, Overland and Platt Park RNOs. 
  • A copy will be attached to tonight's minutes
  • 2.) Letter from BHNA in support of a Historic Denver grant.  Ozi will share details.
